DOGUE DE BORDEAUX RESCUE AUSTRALIA
As the popularity increases for this exotic and special breed unfortunately so does the amount of dogue's that are abandoned, dumped and even surrendered every year!! The reasons for these dogs being left in these circumstances are endless the most commonly being that owners were ill prepared for owning a dogue, that they were to expensive to keep, they no longer have the space or the dog's health become an issue. Some of these dogs are found in such bad condition ether abused or in terrible health, some do not make it like "Boston" and others suffer from there ill treatment there whole lives.
DDBRA is a small group of passionate breeders and Dogue enthusiasts that have developed a network of like minded people throughout Australia to help with the rescue and rehome of the Dogue de Bordeaux. They are also an official recognised charity there for any donations made are tax deductible and more importantly greatly appreciated. If you are one of those very special people that feels they might like to open their heart and offer a forever home to a rescue Dogue please contact myself or the rescue group for more information.
We have to pleasure and privilege of having our very own rescue dogue in our family her name is Rory and if it was not for the great work of DDBRA she would not be in my life today. Please visit Rory's very own Page.
